SHAYNE: This was murderworld's last real song. we started jamming it about 2months before the break up and was about to hit the live set. The music was written after some heavy listening to kreator n dew scented. The original drums were less intense to what they became on this recording with Zac helping with the patterns. It has MW's token aggressive thrashing and moshy hooks.

MORBID: This is actually version 2. It's a little angrier than the first. The first was very depressive, the world is against me, if I died no one would care. That sort of thing. 2nd time round, which is what you're hearing, is, well, it's the same sort of mind frame. But it's angry. It's outward. FUCK THE WORLD!!!
I tried melting just raw, unrelenting pure aggression into these words. You're happy? You see the world as the home of pink candy and rainbows? FUCK YOU! CHOKE ON MY HATE!! That's what this song is. I dunno, maybe I had a bad day? No... that's it... I just remembered. I was looking at the profiles of stupid people on MySpace or something. People all happy with their stupid fairies and shit, oblivious (and sometimes conciously so) to the world around them. So I wrote the lyrics from a "how I see the world" type angle. Just as a counterpoint to the happy people.
The reason for changing the words was because, like I said, the original were very self-hating. I wanted the listener to feel empowered, not depressed. So I changed it. If you know the words, you scream along, and your crap day just melts away and you can go about your business.
